John Citizen’s music smashes through! Their fusion of indie alternative rock, electrified danceable hooks and dark melody demands attention.
John Citizen is a group of passionate, hard-working musicians, fronted by Eva Pattison, unique in their sound by blending alternative and indie rock tones and dance elements with female vocals to possess a charismatic quality that turns heads. From furious danceable rock energy to soulful dark romantic melody, John Citizen’s sounds are diverse yet focused. Veteran producer David Carr (Kisschasy, Antiskeptic, Skipping Girl Vinegar, Taxiride) came across the tunes on MySpace, met up in with the band in Berlin to talk production ideas, and soon put his hand up to produce the EP. After a few productive weeks in the studio, things gelled so well that David actually joined the band on guitar. John Citizen's debut EP is set for release in late 2009.
